The mission of the Pamlico Musical Society is to present diverse musical experiences that enrich the quality of life in our community.
ConcertsSince 1997, Pamlico Musical Society has presented several concerts each year, from September through April or May. Professional artists from a variety of musical genres present the highest caliber musical entertainment, typically in the intimate setting of Oriental's Old Theater.
Jazz, classical, folk, rock, Americana, pop, and show tunes ensure that each Pamlico Musical Society season offers something for everyone who loves great music. In 2015 Recitals on the River was added, offering late afternoon intimate classical chamber music experiences. These performances are held at The Harbor Club at River Dunes. |
OutreachFree workshops, performances, and educational programs are held at various venues throughout
the County, inviting dialogue, discussion, and discovery with celebrated artists. Youth music programs give our County's young people an opportunity to interact with visiting musicians and enjoy in-school concert experiences |
