About the Society

The Pamlico Musical Society, based in Oriental, NC, was formed in the spring of 1997 as an affiliate of the Pamlico County Arts Council. Its purpose is to increase access to professional professional-level music by sponsoring concerts in the county. It also aims to enhance and expand the musical experiences of the Pamlico County's school-aged population with workshops, concerts and scholarships.
